So interesting, I haven't experienced burnout myself, but I can relate to the whole "learning the hard way" and continuing to load yourself up with more and more things to do because that's what you're supposed to do. I think I was able to catch myself before it got too bad. I'm definitely still learning to find a balance as well, it's an ongoing exercise. Looking forward to reading the next parts!
I’m so glad you were able to catch yourself in time! But yes, seeking a balance — I don’t think you can ever find one, you’ll have lost it the very same moment — is a never-ending endeavour, isn’t it? In some ways that can be demoralising, but I find it also a relief, knowing that as long as I’m SEEKING balance I’m on the right path. What that balance looks like can of course vary too, sometimes it may even look more like an imbalance 🤸🏻♀️
